Proudly Awarded for Excellence in Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Northern Hemisphere Harvest Olio Nuovo (December Delivery)
Experience fresh Italian Olio Nuovo extra virgin olive oil from the new-season harvest, bottled fresh and sent straight to your door in Australia. It's grassy, vibrant and peppery, with the lively green character of early-harvest olive oil pressed at the very start of the season.
New to fresh-harvest olive oil? Learn what Olio Nuovo is and why it matters.
Fresh from the Italian harvest
Each December, members of our team travel to Italy to inspect the olives and help with processing. The olives are harvested and processed within 24 hours, then bottled straight away, so what arrives in your kitchen still tastes like harvest day.
It's the Northern Hemisphere half of our Olio Nuovo year: fresh oil from our Australian harvest in May, and from Italy in December.
Unfiltered or Filtered Olio Nuovo?
Unfiltered is the traditional way to enjoy Olio Nuovo: cloudy, intensely green and full of flavour. It's a seasonal treat, best enjoyed within 3 to 6 months.
Filtered is clear and bright. Stored in a cool, dark place, it keeps its quality for up to 2 years.
Choose a 500ml bottle for the table or a 2 litre tin for the kitchen.
How to Enjoy Fresh Olio Nuovo
Use it where you'll really taste it: drizzled over warm bread, soups, pasta, salads and grilled vegetables. That peppery kick at the back of your throat comes from naturally occurring polyphenols, and it's a good sign you're tasting genuinely fresh oil.
How to Store Olio Nuovo
Keep it in a cool, dark cupboard away from heat and light, with the lid firmly closed.
